Repair Water Heater
How do you know when it’s time to replace your hot water heater? Normally but not always its pretty obvious. Some of the common signs that your water heater has just about bit the dust are:
- You find the telltale puddle around your water heater. This could be that your tank is leaking or you have a leaky drain valve. If it’s just the drain valve leaking you can get this repaired, but if the tank is corroded and leaking it’s time to replace your water heater.
- Another telling sign is when your hot water starts to run out quicker than it did in the past. This could be that the water heater is old and not working as efficiently. Now is the time to start doing your research on what type of water heater replacement you should get. It’s best not to wait too long to get this fixed. The last thing you want is a plumbing emergency on your hands!
- There are some other signs that your water heater is not long for this world. It may start to smell weird or make noises. Lastly if your tank is really corroded you could see discolored or rusty water coming out of the faucet!
